Robert Balakas is a Registered Migration Agent (MARN 2117713) with the OMARA and completed his Graduate Diploma in Migration Law at Victoria University. Robert is also registered with PIER as a Qualified Education Agent Counsellor and specialises in student visa applications. He is also a member of Migration Alliance and the Migration Institute of Australia and is committed to continuous business and professional development.
Robert has a background spanning over a decade in the healthcare industry and is employed at several major metropolitan hospitals in Melbourne. Over the years he has worked alongside professional migrants from all over the world and values their skills and contributions not only to the Australian workforce but also their contributions to the country as a whole.
One of Robert’s passions is that he loves to travel and has participated in several missions outreach trips to the Bicol province of the Philippines. He loves meeting new people and learning about their different cultures as well as engaging with the community.

Shiela Balakas

Shiela migrated to Australia 10 years ago from the Philippines to study and eventually work as a registered nurse. She has been through the whole migration process from English exams and skills assessments to student visa applications and permanent residency. In 2017 Shiela became an Australian citizen, making Australia her new home. Migrating to Australia opened many doors of opportunity for Shiela which changed the course of her career in healthcare and personal life. Shiela discovered her passion in helping others realise their own Australian dream and loves being part of their migration journey. Shiela believes that with hard work and if given the right opportunities every migrant can thrive and succeed in Australia.

Shiela understands and empathises with each and everyone’s migration journey as she walked the same path 10 years ago. Shiela is fluent in English and Filipino, values customer service and likes to foster engaging professional relationships with clients.
